Darren McFadden

Darren was a three-sport athlete at Oak Grove High School in North Little Rock.  His senior year he was chosen as a Parade All-American as well as the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Arkansas High School Player of the Year.  Playing for Houston Nutt at the U of A, Darren won SEC Freshman of the Year honors as well as Freshman All-American honors.  ESPN named him the Newcomer of the Year.  He was twice runner-up for the Heisman Trophy (2006 & 2007). His senior year he was a consensus first-team All-American for the 2nd consecutive time. He won the Walter Camp Award and was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year.  Darren was the fourth player taken in the first round of the 2008 NFL draft, going to the Oakland Raiders.  After an injury-plagued time with the Raiders, he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, where in 2015 he led the team in rushing with 1,089 yds., and 328 receiving yards.
